Susan Florence’s life journey is reflected in the updates made to her website. The website logo,top banner was Soul Food by Susan Florence. Her homepage highlighted her art, gift books and books in Spanish. Today her website is personalized with her signature as a logo and tagline of  “gifts of art and soul” – love it!

Added to her highlighted work on the homepage is a new section for greeting cards of hope, healing and courage. This section links the viewer to a new page that displays each card and to purchase it links to the website, “it takes two”, a unique company that supports artistic greeting cards and stationery.

Susan also added some of her latest watercolors to the Art For Sale page and is offering them as giclee prints. She is a plein air painter (on location) and most are paintings of local areas such as Santa Barbara, Morro Bay, Ojai, Lake Powell as well as some from Hawaii, Greece and Mexico. Susan uses Ventura’s Image Source for producing her giclees and they are vibrant and quality images.

Ventura’s Surf Brewery

When Bill and Chris Reigler met with me to create their web presence for Surf Brewery a physical location had not yet been secured but their name, logo and local presence had been established by sharing their idea of opening a local brewery and serving their craft beer with afficianados at Homebrew Festivals and Surfing Contests.

The early supporters shared their email addresses and received a monthly email newsletter and have been treated with an insiders look at the milestones of developing a business. An archive of these newsletters can be accessed from their website.

Along with this monthly newsletter, Surf Brewery setup a Facebook page, worked on an ever-evolving website which served video tours of each stage of building at their location on Market Street in Ventura, a list of events they are scheduled to attend and their Beer/Menu posted just this week.

To engage your targeted audience at the beginning of a start-up business and bring them along on your journey gives you not only loyalty branding but raises the interest as a natural groundswell to an Opening Week June 8 – 12 of specials and events.

BestLight Studio

Webfoot Studio has used this desktop light studio for client product photos and it couldn’t be easier for beautiful  product pictures with great clarity so when Tom Blanford asked me to update his photo gallery of example images I said it would be a snap.

After deciding Flash was not the optimum format for search engines or Apple products we decided simple universal coding produced the best results. We divided the images into categories and gave each category it’s own page. One click to the gallery of choice and a simple mouseover on same page to view over 20 photos.
